I could tell that's FL Studio from a mile away, use your own sounds, then the score will be better, theres nothing wrong with the actual song.

I completely agree with your self-review, It sounds very good at the moment, and when you fix out all the kinks and smooth the edges my 8/10 would jump to 9.

It my opinion this son is very unique in how you remixed it, I prefer your version over the original any day, it just sounded a bit preset-y until the drums came in, then it sounded like you did a great job at mastering it.
